New CCD chip = New World

My idea is a gold ore finding submarine that becomes practical for the first time when a new generation of charge couple digital chips comes into the market.

These are SOOOOOOOO sensitive that they can “see” galaxies near the beginning of time, and very very far away.

Anyhow I get one of those, and now for the first time I can find gold ore on the seabed.

Fluorescent photons are weak weak weak, and moving through water makes them weaker weaker weaker. But all I need is a few hundred of them to hit my CCD chip.

It’s not the counts (intensity of counted scintillations that discloses the Gold. It’s the wavelength of the photons I get. The wavelength, not the wave height (intensity).

So, I can map the seabed, gold, platinum, whatever — the good stuff.

If I know EXACTLY where the best ore is, getting it up is not that hard. I use a submarine that runs up and down a vertical wire. I use robot ore grabbers to load the sub. Then I blow the water out of the ballast tanks, and up it comes, guided by the wire to my waiting ship, with ferashes to unload the ore into a barge.

I smelt it, coin it, and give it to state Governors who do what I tell them to do. A few hundred tons of gold talks, just like money does.

I provide the that nice stuff and they use it any way they want, so long as they do exactly what I tell them to do. I get control of 25 states. But I do it sub rosa. On the quiet.

I fix everything starting with employable K-12 grads. And people who work hard. And have kids, and build houses, and start towns.

I was born into a world I did not make, but I will leave a world that I did make.

Yes, OK megalo megalo, like any Johnnie.
