Teachers are People Who Avoid Thinking By Using One-Way Methods to Solve Problems.

Teachers dominate and punish their students into compliance. They often seem to act like sadists and tyrants. They beat the student into doing the problem their way.

But real education is not about avoiding thinking. It’s about the joy of thinking. It’s about being eager to think freely and creatively with no boundaries, and no mind-cuffs.

Teachers, in the main, and most of the time just cram their techniques into the student’s head and conduct.

They should be called “ignorancifiers” because the sum of ignorance is maintained or enhanced by them, never reduced by their jubilant exultation of the thinking talent in the student.

Student taught by teachers never invent new ways to solve problems. They are bullied into using the way the teacher wants that sort of problem to be solved. Their thinking is discouraged and disregarded. Only the answer in the teacher’s manual is worthy and acceptable.

My cure is re-positioning to Cape Horn. 300,000 of them will make a notable improvement in American education. My way of improving education is Non-Intellectual, Non-Judicial, Non-Philosophical, and more along the lines of Delta Force.

I need two brigades of airmen, and a few hundred cargo planes. I will fly them out of Edwards to Santiago or to small strips that I will install. I’ve done that before, and know how to do it.

The ethical conversation, I leave to academics. I’m a brawler not a scholar.

I will make 300,000 places for “new” teachers and fill them with people who rejoice in thinking and do not abjure it or seek ways around it.

I will treat all people gently, not with stabbing. That’s how the boss wants it. He trusts me to follow orders, as I trust my Chilean associates.

Green light = new era of effective education in USA that produces thinkers.
