Trump and Pope Leo are Right for the Times

Trump wants no wars.

He sees wars as money wasted, and profit killers.

Many alternatives to Trump would be quick to lead USA straight into war in Ukraine, or the South China Sea.

Pope Leo wants no doctrinal conflicts that detract from people’s ability to be brothers and sisters in Christ. Pope Leo puts love ahead of doctrinal disputes.

The Conclave that elected Pope Leo could have chosen a Pope who was anxious to prevail in doctrinal disputes and have his side win.

But, they chose the man who named himself Leo.

With great courage Pope Leo has sought to bring back the clarity of Saint Augustine on the relative value of love versus doctrinal purity.

Two men who are right for the times — Trump and Leo.
