Why are Nuts and Seeds not packed in Argon Gas?

That way they are less likely to get moldy. Argon is costly, but not on a packing unit basis where less than a half liter of gas would be required.

Packing nuts and seeds in air will result in mold, if the jar allows light in.

Using Argon would prevent this.

Your long term survival food would stay good.
