The Current Civil War

The New Civil War is not about secession (although California and New York may as well seek to become their own nation).

Today’s Civil War is not Black vs White, or Rich vs Poor or North vs South.

Or this religion vs that religion,

Or all religion vs no religion.

US Civil War Ver. 2.0 is about support Trump vs oppose Trump.

It’s about Article II power (unified Executive) vs Article III power (Court Orders).

The battle exists INSIDE our US Constitution as well as in USA today.

The Congress plays no role. All participants in U.S. Civil War Ver. 2.0 see the Congress as inept, corrupt, and ineffectual. Nobody goes to or appeals to the Congress to resolve the conflict which now entails gunfire and dead people on the ground.

People go to the Article III Courts to nullify the power of Trump, or to uphold it.

So it’s Article II vs Article III.

Unified Executive (as Madison and Hamilton plainly wanted) vs ***concurrent*** power which is obviously impossible and impractical — like a husband and wife exercising “concurrent” power over what a family does, or a ship’s Captain and a Navy Lieutenant exercising “concurrent” power over the course and speed of the ship.
