Way Two — Use your power in such a way that ALL other power in the world chooses to gang up against you and seek to nullify your use of the power you have.
Way One is like President Washington, or the great business tycoons of the Guilded Age.
Way Two is like the Imbecile Joe Biden who ruined himself, his nation, and his ideology.
I think Way One is better than Way Two.
