The Nature of Photon-DSP

Material Cause — A mixture of Ln+3 ions affixed to substrate nano-particles, using heat, or electro-static deposition, such that said ions are excited by high-energy UV light, and thus generate secondary (outcoming) fluorescent photons with very very pinpoint specific wavelengths at along the spectral range from 400 nm to 1500 nm (short to long wavelengths).

Formal Cause — A FIT/FIR programmable multiple bandpass filter programmed by variables that are called up by said file number to snippetize said spectral range into snippets that can be few or many, wide or narrow, here, or there, or even there, and also there.

Efficient Cause — Put the Ln+3 ions on the nanoparticles. Arrange this combination to be a flat circle of fluorescent material, and now on top of said flat circle that will be fluorescent, place a crown class lens such that the fluorescent photons come off the flat circle as parallel beams of light that are strong, bright, and easy to focus down onto a sensor like a charge coupled detector.

Final Cause — Use the signature of light within a particular set of snippets (determined by the variables set from said numbered file) to reliably authenticate the document (bank bill, ancient letter, President’s note) or the item (package of parts, package of value matter, can of food, work of art) that the seal is affixed to such that any attempt to remove, or transfer that seal will destroy it utterly so the seal is no longer valid because it is highly tamper evident, and it has evidently been tampered with. The resulting authentications will allow people to know what is real and what is fake — they can tell the true document/item from the fake counterfeit document/item.

This ability to discern has value because truth matters. Knowing the truth is helpful. Being able to know the truth allows commerce, utility, profit, and advancement to occur. Said gains make life for people better, more pleasing, and more secure.

So Photon-DSP has the four causes, and they have been described, and are explained in more precise and technical terms in patent US 10176661 B2 filed on 18 July 2016, and expiring on 18 July 2036.

You can buy that patent today (4 October 2025) for $200,000. It is usually priced at $2 million.
