He tried to earn a living drawing and hand painting postcards, mostly of buildings.
His work was rejected as a commercial venture. His postcards required a great deal of personal labor, but they did not bring much income.
This business failure resulted in a youth who was willing to take personal bodily risks as a message runner in WW I.
He got the Iron Cross for his amazing courage.
For the rest of his life he played the game “Shall I continue to live, or shall I be killed?”
He developed this inquiry to a high level, first with a small bodyguard, then with a praetorian guard, and finally with the SS to safeguard his life in which he took ever greater personal physical risks.
Then he killed many people in Europe, and then in Russia, and then 6 million Jews, for no valid reason, they did not write the Treaty of Versailles, they were poor, helpless, and low standing people. But he killed them anyway, as something to do. And he got help from other WW I vets, several of whom had the Iron Cross as he did. One of whom had the Blue Max, which was a very high level of Iron Cross award with swords and diamonds.
Then he married his mistress. Then he poisoned his dog Blondie. Then he shot his wife in the head. Then he shot himself in the head. Then the two bodies were burned in a pit behind his concrete bunker front door.
The life was a sad one. And the man was not right in the head. He was treated rough when he tried to make a living with his postcards. He then treated mankind very roughly. Killed a huge number of people, with no rational justification. Went out by killing his dog, his wife, and himself. Magda Goebbles killed all her own children, so Adolf’s sad life created a lot of harm among those who cared for him, and hundreds of his helpers were tried and convicted at Nuremburg, and many came to sad ends as well.
All told, mankind and the world would have been much better off is Adolf had never been born.
He was a freak, and a very evil one.
He used patriotism and harmed mankind by getting people to be loyal to him when they should not have been. His skills as an artists were marginal. But his rhetorical skills were prodigious. He had all the qualities that are present in great actors. He rehearsed his words and gestures using a tall mirror so he could see the image he was shaping and sending out. When he gave live speeches to hundreds of thousands of live people, he captivated them utterly. We have never seen anybody in USA that had that ability. FDR, JFK, Ronald Reagan, AOC never even came close.
Adolf may have served as a precursor, and fore-warning to people who might be enthralled by compelling rhetoric or dramatic speeches. We might be partially immune to the spell that Adolf was able to cast. So, it goes. So it went. So we are where we are.
There is no assurance that life (of anybody) will be “fair”.
AH made hand-painted postcards that were rejected by the market and he was denied his chance to make a living drawing and painting postcards that were actually quite good.
If the postcard market in Germany in 1923 had accepted and rewarded the quite good work of AH, history would have come out much better.
There would have been workers, and socialists in Germany, but no Nazi Party. No homicidal gang of lunatics that killed many millions of people pointlessly.
AH got hard knocks. Then he gave hard knocks.
It’s not clear that the Jews, per se, as a group, were the ones who refused to accept and buy AH’s quite good hand-painted postcards.
So AH got “punished” for no reason, then Europe, Russia, and the Jews got punished for not reason, so life is a chaos of unreason, harm, hurt, and homicide.
I cannot say for sure how to fix this. Much of my life has been devoted to the better babies project. Yes, it is genetics, but it’s selective genetics, not genetic engineering. I pick genes, I don’t re-engineer them or CRISPR them.
Better babies, for all I know, could turn out to be better people. Not as crazy, or vicious as AH. More, accepting, gentle, and kind. More like Gautama Siddhartha, less like Stalin, or Nero, or Caligula.
I cannot be sure of that. They may turn out to be way smarter, and fitter, and stronger, and healthier, but just as vicious, rotten, and mean as ever.
Gene selection to make kinder and more gentle people is beyond my ken. I would not know how to do it, or where to look, and on what chromosomes.
Apart from selecting or engineering genes, the next best hope would be parenting and education.
Mothers tend to want their kids to be kind, gentle, positive, and constructive.
Teachers, in USA, tend to be evil Marxists intent on the dissolution and termination of USA.
My approach to education entails re-positioning USA teachers to Cape Horn. They could be able to pull plows and carry boxes. They could be redeemed at the level of brute beasts. No, I don’t think you could fix them up and make them OK, or Obama, Biden, Bernie Sanders, or AOC. They are beyond being made OK, but they could be made 4000 miles away, which is not quite as humane, but it is as effective and making them OK would be — especially if they are replaced by veterans, and sane business people. Patriots and capitalists would be OK as educators. At least they are not trying to destroy USA.
Or Home Schooling. That could be made much simpler, much better, and much more capacitating. Home-Schooled kids could come out heading for engineering, inventing, financial, or medical fields, or as energy providers, or as modern farmers.
My work is just at the genetic optimization level. I would like to work at the engineering level to provide the USA government with all the gold that is hiding on Federal lands, and which has gone up from $35 to $2000 per oz. so now it is really worth getting, and could make USA solvent again.
