Trump and I grew up just across the Triboro Bridge from each other. He was “outer borough” but he became Manhattan and built the NYC skyline.
USA has never had a “builder” as President before.
So now we do, and he wants to rebuild part of the White House, and he knows how to do it.
Jackie Kennedy changed everything in the White House.
Perked up America.
Trump wants the same result, with his ballroom in place of a squatty useless building that was just taking up space and had no real use.
The East Wing was really just a hallway, for people who came in carriages to come into the White House.
It had past memories because visitors came in that way.
The ballroom promises futures wonderful experiences that will abide as delightful memories of White House experience.
My own memory is of the Three Mile Island meltdown day when I served a legal paper directly on the President at the guard shack at the main gate of the White House. I had a Court Order allowing me to do that. It was a dramatic moment, and one that abides in memory.
Ballroom Dancing is Part of American Culture And Doing it at the White House is an Emblem of our Vitality
