To Make A Desktop Computer that Could Emulate a Smartfone Would Require the Skills of a 20 Year Old With Some Electronics.

But WHY would anybody do that?

50 million people who do not have smartfones, and do not want smartfones are LOCKED out of much of the US Economy, Commerce, and Social Interaction.

They do not want smartfones.

They want to communicate.

They would love to get and send text messages.

It could take 3 days to build the machine I describe.

But what bother?

Here is why —-

50 million new customers could be worth something to somebody.

If the new machine is worth $10 million as a patent — and it takes 3 days to put together, that comes to about $3 million per day.

Most 20 year olds don’t make nearly $3 million per day.

Could one of them read this, and have a better income?

Maybe.

Reading is hard. Being attentive is hard.

I know, I know.
