Trump could run and be Elected as the VP for Vance. Then Vance could die or resign. Then Trump could again be President by the Law of succession.

If it could be proven that this sequence happened by pre-arranged secret conspiracy, then the succession could be voided by SCOTUS.

I am a member of that bar since 1985, and I think it’s a 50-50 chance that SCOTUS would allow another partial term for TRUMP if it came about by SUCCESSION and not by ELECTION.

Also, JD Vance could appoint Trump as his Senior Counsellor and Trump could sit in on and speak at all meetings that were important to USA.

Trump would be an advisor — and not elected to a 3rd Term.

This option I think would be plainly legal under the US Constitution as it now stands.
