Be lucky enough to write a patent that some big company feels it must brush out of the way by buying it from the patent holder.
The content of your patent must clearly and plainly be an invention that a big company would not want to obviously infringe upon, and then lose a major lawsuit.
There are companies that claim to be “patent brokers”. They have a list of patent for sale on the internet. They will add your patents to their internet list is you ask them pretty please.
There are no actual patent brokers.
USPTO will put a “for sale” note on your patent, if you pay them a large sum every month they do that for you.
Big corporations do not seek to innovate, much less to pay for and buy innovation.

When I offer to sell Patent US 10,176,661 B2 for $10,000 that happens in the same week when I sold my college ring for $400 which is 30% of its Gold content melt value. It is a 14 Karat ring weighing about 1 Troy oz.
So, you see, I am seriously trying to make it through this winter.
