Congress could Create a SNAP Charitable Credit (better than a deduction, a tax credit).

Then SNAP would always be fully funded.

And the taxpayers could “feel good” about themselves.

For being “charitable”.

So the kids of 42 million USA citizens need not go hungry.

USA could keep a straight face and say “We are a Civilized Nation”.

My SNAP Tax Credit solves two problems at once.

We become a more “civilized” nation (in case that ever mattered to anybody).

We provide LESS money to bureaucrats, academics, stooges, and agency people.

So the government gets both smaller and better.

It gets less wasteful, and more helpful.

We don’t kill our own children to prove how “pure” we are in our capitalism.

We want capitalism AND charitable conduct.

Like Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Sweden, Australia.

Let us now swivel to become civil.

It’s not an about face.

It’s just a small change in our tax law.
