A Weather Balloon Capable of Lifting an EMP Device Could Be Inflated and Released in 5 Minutes

It could get to 10,000 feet in another 8 minutes.

Jets cannot be scrambled and vectored to the balloon’s location in 13 minutes.

Once the EMP device is detonated, it’s too late.

A glass tube loaded with black powder, and coiled with a mile of copper wire, and powered by an onboard Lithium Ion Battery can when detonated release a powerful EMP wave that would disable all unprotected electronic devices.

An Embassy rooftop on Mass. Ave. in DC would be an adequate launch site if equipped with a tank of hydrogen gas, and a weather balloon with EMP device attached.

In 13 minutes, White House and Pentagon would be incapacitated.
