We pay a guy $1 Trillion and then he destroys USA. These are Odd Times — by any standard.

First people lose their food.

Then they lose their shelter (homes, houses, apartments)

Now come Elon, with 50,000 Robots to make sure they lose their jobs too.

Is there nobody in charge in USA?

Are all people in USA totally helpless?

Now comes Adam Smith to tell me “If we don’t do the Elon Robots thing here, some other nation will do it and get the jump on us trade-wise”

And I say “Which other nation — Denmark, Canada, Sweden, Germany, Italy — which will give up 50,000 jobs so they can be more robotized?”

Adam says, Dunno, but somebody.

I say I am not worried. No nation in their right mind would try to do such a thing.
