I never had a home to come from or a piece of land to be attached to.
I was topsy turvy like a ball in a game machine, knocked this way and that way — as strikes the player — I was the ball not the player.
But I got to see a huge variegated sample of life.
And books played a big role.
I learned from my own experience, and from many experiences of other people.
Books are the stream of human lives connected.
So life is not just your own learning and then you die. It entails learning you get from other people, and learning you leave behind for others to gain from. Books are the connecting stream and brings many human lives into and after one individual life.
I learned from the Beatles. From EST. From Lao Tzu and Gautama Buddha (Dharma).
College taught me a few things. Lawschool fewer things. Business School almost nothing worth noting or remembering.
But making a profit is part of what must be done to get a grip on life, and not just be wiped out by it.
3/4’s of my life (60 out of 80 years) has been in Maryland. Some years were also spent in California, where I did learn a lot.
Strawberry Fields forever … but they are in your head, not actual “fields” on the ground.
Ayn Rand and Werner Earhardt were sources of my understanding, among many.
Crazy quilt life with many distinct patches of space/time. Topsy-Turvy no destination home to come from, stay at, or go to.
I got my own learning, and that of many others. Rousseau, Newton, Planck, Einstein, Jefferson, Washington, Nixon, and Trump.
Life is very complex if you get a crazy quilt.
It’s a woods and you have to find your way in it.
My 20 books are for sale on Amazon, and I’m not done, I may have a couple more in me.
