Both cases had massive newspaper coverage.
As a result, the remedy I sought in those cases was attained by the cases just existing.
So it’s a sort reverse happy irony.
What I was asking for in the cases was made redundant and superfluous by the existence of the cases.
Getting the government to issue health warnings or move people out of harm’s way turned out to be not necessary after the newspapers sent out 84 major front pages with articles describing the cases in detail.
The Atom Bomb case was getting full coverage when Three Mile Island melted to slag and released massive amounts of ionizing radiation.
So all the publicity added up and compounded into the very public warnings I was seeking.
Reverse irony could be called “Ynory”
My legal career contained a lot of Ynory, which was a good, and positive thing.
I am glad to have helped veterans and people in Pennsylvania.
I had 2 big cases. One for the Atomic Veterans of US Atom Bomb Testing, and one for the People Near Three Mile Island Nuclear Reactor.
