Fentanyl makes people dopey or dead, so the impact is mostly economic, not political. It makes nations poor but not acting in odds ways.
Tetra-hydro-cannabinoids, and mescaline, and opiates make people goofy-brained. So the impact is largely political if the goofy-brained persons are allowed to vote. Groupthink happens a lot among goofy-brained persons. And this can fly off in ANY direction.
Groupthink voters often develop strong convictions about their own moral worthiness as compared with people who are not in the group. Climate activists, and racial activists, and feminists often have powerful compulsions to repair and improve other people who they feel are deficient or broken in some way.
USA is a showcase for strongly acting activists affected by THC/Mescaline/Opiate type chemicals.
The foreign invaders bring in Fentanyl and THC chemicals but the THC is far more hazardous to USA and mankind than the Fentanyl. People who are dopey, or dead are not a big hazard to mankind. American voters who are on fire with moral outrage and desire to fix up other humans are a danger to the species Homo Sapiens.
