Some of Us, Who Are Not Cats, are “Rescues” Too.

She Adopted a Black Panther Cub Who Lost His Mom to Poachers… Now He Has a Loving Family

My dad was a French spy who worked for Churchill. He spoke no English, and could not afford to travel to USA and be present when I was born.

Mom was a US Army Red Cross nurse (ambulance driver) on the battlefields in France in World War II.

Dad became Chevalier in Legion of Honor, but that did not come with any cash reward, just a little red boutonniere.

He played contract bridge for his living after the war. He also painted, but his paintings did not sell. Mostly it was landscapes.
