Chubby Checker and His Twist, and the Beatles with “I Want To Hold Your Hand” marked the beginning of the Post World War II Generation, born from 1945 to 1962.

My generation was post WW II and pre the Psychedelic 1960’s. We became distinct by the Twist, and the very early Beatles songs. It was clear that we were a new group.

JFK and Jackie, and John Glenn played major roles in my generation, as did the Beatles, and the Twist.

There was a huge “Boom” of babies after WW II, so my generation played a large role in shaping the decades since 1945. I think we were on good ground in the 1970’s, but not so good in the 1980’s.

Today, je me souviens, which is how geezers talk. I am not grumpy. This does take some attitude dancing. Like Fred Astaire, and Ginger Rogers. One must keep it light, to stay relevant, and be affable.
