Dorothy (my mother) married Jean Duval in 1945, in Grasse France near the battlefield where he worked as a Colonel (Securite Nationale) and she work as OSS (source for General Donovan). In 1947 Jean Duval refused to come to USA, divorced my mother, and went back to his first wife Audrey, and married her again. So I grew up with no father. I saw Jean Duval for one summer in Arosa, one in Kitzbuhel, and one in Cap D’Antibes (Cote D’Azure, near Cannes). Jean was a top ranked contract bridge player, and made his living betting big money on contract bridge games. I saw him rake in whole tables full of 1000 franc notes. He had his villa in Cap D’Antibes, and a nice apartment in Paris on Rue De Babylon. Mother did all she could for me — Rosey, Camp Adirondack, Knickerbocker Greys, Buckley School — but with no father, I grew up alone. I got none of the guidance that a father can give a son. So my life was a hard one. But I had good luck in my cases, in the Navy, and in business, and at the Patent Office. My smock guy created an annuity for me that was very smart (90% return of Capital, only 10% taxable income). So my later years have not been burdened with poverty. My pay in the Navy was so low (O3 pay) that my Social Security now is only $803 per month. And I have no poor person skills so I get nothing for free. My work now is writing books and patents. I am trained in Particle Physics, and in Law, and Business, and Diplomacy. I’m not allowed to travel to Eastern Europe. At 80, alone, no family, no current friends, I am terrified. I am seeking a safe place to live out my life. Said rounds could be given to worthy actual US citizens, start with vets. There is a quadrillion dollars worth of Gold on Federal lands. By using sharecrop high capacity miners, the Treasury could have that gold for free. Then make rounds, then give them to honorably discharged vets. Then take them as payment for small lots of federal land said vets would homestead on. Result = Huge Uplift to US economy. Huge help to worthy citizens. Strong indication that the US government is not braindead, in a coma, and uncaring. Take the Gold from the land, put the vets (and others) on the land.
