In half a century, this never happened before. Robots are now replacing people. The core social contract is being broken.
The Contract was that the voters will not take the money from the very rich, and the very rich will use their money to create jobs for the voters.
Now, robots arrive. The rich, grab the robots, put them to work, fire the people.
Elon Musk and Optimus say “Good let’s have more robots!!”
Problem is democratic socialism will make a big comeback.
Obama/Biden will be followed by more radical socialists.
We are headed for a collision of values.
The people want jobs. The billionaires want to be trillionaires.
Robots will not be allowed to vote.
The rich are buying gold ingots and placing them in Swiss banks.
Canada may still have an economy, but USA is headed for some turmoil.
You cannot break the basic social contract and say “Robots Made Me Do It”.
Tear up the contract, tear up the country.
