The “Just Doing My Job” defense worked well at Nuremberg, but it did not work in Jerusalem. So, it looks like I will be physically grabbed out of my apartment and thrown onto the street, with not much prospect to stay alive very long with no shelter. The landlord says he’s just doing his “job”. There is no Jerusalem to hold him accountable. Hannah Arendt tells the story, but modern times did not get the message.
