Better Babies — An OK thing to Seek

Horses are bred for speed, dogs for hunting, and better babies not at all. It’s too counter cultural. It sounds too Nazi like. I, your prophet tell you that by 2073 there will be a serious effort to breed babies that are healthy, attractive, smart and able to make money. If you can breed hawks for hunting, and dogs for showing, and porpoises for doing tricks, then you could breed humans for longevity, beauty, business skill, and raw intelligence. This is credible, but unspeakable. It sounds like Master Race, Adolph Hitler, Uber-Mensche. But, for one 7 seconds try to look at the idea objectively. Would smart beautiful healthy people be that bad for the world. Would making them be a crime or a sin? Or are you just in kneejerk Hitler Master Race Mode?
