My Comment — If Social Security goes kaput, there could be social unrest. The large cities may be looking at unplanned evacuations — people trying to get to safer places. When I was an options trader 50 years ago my smock guy handle all my trades. He also bought me an annuity. It has a COLA of 2% per year. Which was right 50 years ago. But now when inflation runs about 20% per years, by annuity cannot keep pace. So I buy less, eat less, drive less, and do less. So, here’s my advice —– get a piece of land you could live on. Get gold bars if the price gets right. Get other value matter metals. Do not invest in coins, stamps, or books. Try to get a few years ahead with the pills you need to stay healthy. Expect everything to go kaput — be as ready as you can be. Canned food, gold, land, pills, guns, ammo, blankets etc.
Seventy million Americans count on Social Security to afford food, medication, housing and utilities. It’s a bedrock promise to Americans that, after a lifetime of hard work, they will have a secure retirement.
