Property that requires thinking to be enjoyed, like books, MP3, and CD, and DVD’s became devoid of value. This basically was all my property. So suddenly everything I own is worth Zero. I don’t have any “apps” for i-phones or apps for Smartphones. So I have nothing of any value. Books are hopeless. Apparently reading is very hard work, and people do not want books, or books on CD’s — even listening is hard work. The music that is popular now is so demented and moronic that even zombies will not buy recordings of it. They get it on the radio an play it full blast in their cars, or homes.
The Federal government is slowly collapsing. The taxes it collects will soon be less than the interest it owes on the debt it has — about 40 Trillion of debt, and tax receipts are dropping. So government agencies like Veterans Administration, and Social Security are going out the window.
There are serious problems in the continuation of most states. The West coast looks OK, And Utah, and Florida, and possibly Maine. NY looks like it will go down, and Illinois, and Ohio, and Pennsylvania. Texas looks OK. New Hampshire may get by.
So, life in USA is getting hard for US citizens. Vets in particular, whose best earnings years we were spent in the Services.
Shelter and food is getting costly and hard to find. Farmers are going broke. Builders must depend on stock market millionaires to sell the houses they build.
Retirement savings and annuities do not have much buying power in USA now. I am looking at other possible countries, and about 100 million other US citizens have also looked around a bit. There are places in South America that are getting considered.
My nation and state may be collapsing.
I would like to say that all this is having no effect on me. But for that to be true, I would have to be on another planet.
