God is Love

One is Gentle, Tame, Forgiving, and Kind. Jesus was nailed to a Cross. When on the Cross He said, “Forgive them Father, they know not what they do.” To me, this suggests one does not strike with a Viking Axe, or with an MI-6 Stiletto, or with a K-bar, or with a Katana. Not through the forehead, the face, the jaw, or the neck. One gives back perfect love. That makes one nearer to God. Who is love, says Mary Baker Eddy a person of good sense. If one answers hate with hate, then there is much nattering, and one must hear the boring story of the dear evil person that is no longer alive, and whose blood was found on one’s shoes. Elegance would be the katana, since that requires skill and practice. Depending on which way the body falls, one may avoid getting blood on one’s shoes. With the MI-6 stiletto, the stroke goes through the jaw, the palate, and into the frontal lobe. One can step back fast enough, and there is no high pressure blood spray. The K-bar is always going to be crude and grisly. It’s too wide to go cleanly into the brain. It’s better not to kill another person. If you kill married person, you are wrecking the life of another person or even several who will be 100% innocent of any harm or malice done to you. I was highly trained in Ethics even before I went to lawschool and practiced law for 40 years. It is the most terrible thing to end a life, and to lose control of one’s emotions. Those are not things I will do. Socrates said that it is better to suffer injustice than to do injustice. You don’t want to allow life to damage your soul. But bad things could happen if someone pulls a gun on me. And even if they kill me some Delta Force guy will put a .223 round into their head, you can be sure of that. It’s may be better for people to just abide with each other in peace and goodwill. I am with Jesus. I am inclined to be understanding. People are “just doing their jobs” (like Eichmann was, see Hannah Arendt).
