Builders are spending in the Billions to build housing in Hagerstown Maryland USA. And it’s very costly to build here because you must dig a very deep and stable foundation and remove tons of white flint and blue limestone from the ground so the Radon seeping up into houses is zero. Even with all the added housing here, I’m being priced out of my own small apartment. The people in the new housing will be paying a fortune. And there is no cheap new housing, or housing for low rent people, or impecunious home buyers. They want rich people to move here. That looks like it’s gonna happen. So buildable ground in Cumberland, Clear Spring, or Frostburg might become more valuable. Maryland is a very blue state. If you want purple or red look at West Virginia, or Virginia. I used to live in Annapolis, and also used to live in Columbia, and Silver Spring. If I get priced out of Hagerstown, I may have to go to Frostburg.
