If 200 million US citizens go down the drain, Congress might begin to notice. They might even do something. What they do might save me. Or, I may move to Canada, Netherlands, or Spain. If USA is as responsive as a block of stone, it will be a history memory. Doing nothing is NOT what the US Constitution calls for. It is not legal or expected. The government was CREATED to help its citizens. The idea of doing that is not weird or outlandish.
