I Am Not Allowed to Go Back to China Now

My skills are Chemistry, Physics, Atom Bombs, Diplomacy, and Getting Judges to like me. I never knew anything about the law, but I also never pretended to know. I am a brawler not a scholar. I know nothing about legal anything. My briefs were all written for me by the elite team that worked for the Judge Advocate General of the Navy. I did understand my signature line, so that’s one line anyway. I can write my name. Judges would sometimes explain to me the contents of my briefs. I was eager to learn. Couldn’t follow most of it, but somehow won every one of my cases, except when the JAG told me to lose one, or shut one down. I had 3% legal knowledge, and 99% reliability. My interest is legal issues was zero. My desire to obey orders was 100%, and do it fast and quiet and smooth. The Navy got what it wanted. I got backed up by my CO after doing a Court Martial case in Diego Garcia that the local OIC was not happy about. You gotta do right. My CO knew that, he had 3 tours as a Navy JAG in Vietnam. In 1969 I was in Cambodia during the Killing Fields time. I was not killed. My people around me protected me and got me safely on to Oman East Africa, where I served as a witness and receipt signer for helicopter loads of supplies. They were good with bladed weapons. My skill in that area is with the MI-6 dagger which is very long and skinny and pointy. No, I have never stabbed anybody. Not even one LL-ord, nor would I. College taught ethics, then lawschool added legal stuff, so I try to do right according to “society”. Most people think that stabbind LL-ord is Not OK. I just want to fit in. Be a regular person. Not an oddball. I like a quiet life. I live small, talk not a lot, and smile a lot. I’m a Taoist. I follow the Watercourse Way (see Alan Watts on this). I seek to cultivate Te (personal strength). I read the old book by Lao Tse (Ching) Way = Tao. So Tao Te Ching is what I learned in China. I would be happy to go back to China.
