Yersinia Pestis is the coming thing, not just more apps for your Smartphone

Yersinia Pestis is a killer of people. The USA government is totally asleep, but it should be taking strong action now to contain, and mitigate any outbreak of Plague that could happen in USA soon. We should have a protocol of Agency contributors to handle the problem if it arises. There should be state and regional Federal executives to make sure that all is done that can be done to keep harm to a minimum. Once the plague starts to hit, it will be too late to begin planning. Events will take over, and prevention of harm to humans will be impossible. Our problem will become disposal of bodies without harming our water supplies. Throwing bodies in landfills will be what towns are likely to do. But the water may not be safe after that. Yersinia Pestis is a coccobacillus bacterium without spores. It has been found on flees and rats. In 1894 it was discovered by Alexander Yersin of the Pasteur Institute. Congress is very busy making sure their own paychecks cash OK. They want more voters, more money, and bigger offices. So 200 million Americans may soon be killed by Plague. Congress is not ready to function. It does not look ahead. It cannot meet problems and start dealing with them until they become national catastrophes. We have agencies that could be helpful, but they have not been consulted or asked to make plans. We have a population that is highly armed and does not trust the Federal government, and has no expectations related to state governments. We could be dealing with a bodies problem and a mass panic problem, and an evacuation of cities problem, and a unlawful use of guns problem. Somebody is going to do something. DOD really should play a role here. It has the right sort of people to work diligently on such a nation-wide threat. Defense could be against a bacterium. Failure of Congress should not be allowed to eliminate half our citizens. There is an Executive Branch, there is a Judicial Branch.
