So let’s just say person past 80 is allowed to be in freezing cold nights until he expires quietly in front of 3 times 3 times 10^9 — some math guy will know, but no need to upset any of us. Let’s just stay serene. Because nothing like that could EVER happen to any of us. Although I must tell you life can start getting very steep after about 75. Only 20 million Americans are on the verge of what I now face. Once 250 million must face it, some person even in Congress might notice. Once USA collapses utterly into gunfire, chaos, and mass panic, the paychecks for the people in Congress might stop. Now, THAT would be serious. The people in uniform with the number 3000 on their chest, are Delta Force, or Special Forces and can hit a forehead at 3000 feet (over half a mile away). A 0.223 round gets 90% of its momentum from the v^2 not from its mass, which is fairly light. The round is mostly lead but can be fitted with a titanium steel alloy needle tip that will punch through 1/4 inch of hard bone. Yes, I was trained in rifle, not just bladed weapons in the Navy. Yes, I can read wind from my sniper nest to the target. No, I am not eager to shoot. My Ethics, Morals, Law, Order, and Culture make me tame, quiet, civil, and law abiding, pretty much. The VA asks me every day if I am feeling suicidal, and I tell them no. But how can I help that? At 80, and cannot get my lease renewed. I want to be saved. I could reward. I am able to work.
