Catastrophe for Me

I will lose my home and everything I own on 15 October 2026. Landlord claims the right to evict me, and the desire to do so. I wish to avoid being entangled in an sort of lawsuit. My landlord has hired a lawyer, and has routinely evicted people. If I refuse to leave the Sheriff will come with a gun and physically throw me out on the sidewalk. So, it’s like being hit by a hurricane. One seeks help, but there is not any for me. I have asked the Governor and the President for help, but that did not come. Landlords have a large advantage in Maryland Courts, so I would not stand a chance fighting this eviction in Court. The VA and HUD are taking me to a place that has a room for me. All my books, notes, patents, and work will be gone. My life will not be ended, but there won’t be much left of it. I will just be a live person with little or nothing. Which is probably better than being hit by a hurricane and being injured. I may have a heart attack in the next week or so, from worry, being rousted out, lack of sleep and lack of security. I did try my best for America. Was decorated by the Secretary of the Navy, worked for four Presidents, and now it’s like being hit by a tornado. I’m 80, weak, disabled, and not able to cope due to loss of skills, and partial loss of eyesight. My prayer is that you do better. Get a small bit of land, try to own some gold. Watch out if you get old.
