Deep Physics Involved in Ore Sample Assessment Machine

The last three days of October 2018 were a time of very significant advances in the physics of separating sandy particles from gold particles in my new panning machine.

The mathematics is complex, and I do not have a Cray computer, so getting the machine the work optimally requires a lot of shape, and timing related design work.

The original intent of this panning machine was the assessment of samples taken from the sea floor. So the material being processed in the the form of a sand/gold and seawater slurry. I have no problem working with the salt water, it actually makes my machine work better.

One problem that has now finally been resolved is the issue of taking out iron particles. I have decided to put that step at the end of the process rather than at the beginning. This allows me to process much less material for the de-ironization phase, and it can be done faster and with less power consumption.

There is still a lot of research to do about how the various particles and the water will move inside the machine. My prior patent is in fluorescent materials and digital signal processing (US 2018/0018845 A1 which is also called Appl. No. 14/999,947 at, please use the PDF download). But I am able to do mechanical inventions as well, physics after all is physics, and I have a lot of experience with fluid dynamics, and fallout, and Pasqualli numbers.
